Recruiting: FAU's 10th Class is in the Books

| 9 Comments | No TrackBacks

What a day.

The day started early and at one point a phone war ensued - Nextel versus iPhone.

Nextel held the lead for most of the day, holding charge for a good part of the day, until it got caught in a heated argument with a tree and we all know who won that argument.

On the other hand, the iPhone worked a bit of overtime - needing several naps during the course of the day (six I believe it was), to regain some of its pep. The naps proved helpful as it finished the day strong and fully intact, guaranteeing its place on top.

This day does belong to the 25 recruits that make up the 2009 Class, marking the 10th signing class for a young ,yet successful, football program.

Once again the class features mostly players from the state of Florida, as 23 of the 25 hail from the Sunshine State.

This seems to be one of the strongest classes yet and it's apparent from the interest and offers some of these kids had to choose among.  Howard did say that we are now "recruiting at a different level then we have in the past," and "it used to be tough to get kids to come here and want to play" in the early stages of the program.

"It took courage to come and join in the mission to make it [the program to] where it is today. Now the mission is to carry it on and make it to a BCS conference," Schnellenberger said.

The on-field success and winning back-to-back bowl games in 2007 and 2008 has enabled the coaching staff to assemble another solid class.

Here are the young men that make-up the 2009 signing class.

Very informative, this was just the information I was looking for. You are dead on the money.

Brilliant post as usual. Personally I find it hard coming up with content for my website but you do a awesome job here.

Kudos from one braniac to another. :)

Without doubt agree with what you reported. Your explanation was undoubtedly the simplest to understand. I tell you, I always get annoyed when folks discuss issues that they obviously do not know about. You managed to hit the nail right on the head and also explained out everything clearly. I hope, people can take a signal. Will likely be back to get more. Thanks!

Hi Admin, when browsing your site i got some sort of codes all over the page, in case it's important just letting you know it looked like this: followed with a lot of other stuff
