Brett Adcock had a good year for Troy but no way was he as good as Mickey Storey. Mickey finished the season 8-1 with a 1.98 era with 7 saves. He was a great closer at the beginning of the year for FAU, and adapted to become a great starter when FAU needed him to move to the starting rotation. Without Storey FAU probably completely finishes a LOT lower than the 2nd place they did. Adcock's era was 3.24 and he had a ton more run support to work with from Troy's offense.
When Adcock gets his award he better remember to thank his teammates because they are what really got him the award-Id guarantee if FAU finished first instead of Troy, Storey would have won!
