FAU 6, Purdue 4(Final)FAU now 5-2
FAU came from behind yet again to win tonight 6-4 over Purdue. After a massive Grand Slam by Purdue that gave the Boilmakers a 2 run lead, FAU showed their heart and came right back with 3 runs in the next half inning to take the lead back. Robbie Widlansky accounted for the final run with a homerun. Will Mann pitched very well tonight striking out 7 and walking none to get the win. Mickey Storey got the call to close today and pitched around an awful fielding lapse in right field by getting a double play to end it for FAU. A strong way to start the series-lets hope it continues tomorrow!
