FAU wins over ETSU
FAU defeats ETSU 7-3.
I won't be home tonight to check on the softball team. Good luck though. That 1-0 loss came down to one home run. Its double elimination so they have another chance.

FAU wins over ETSU
Big win to sweep ETSU and finish ahead of them! Facing Stetson in the nightcap Wednesday night is the best thing we could have hoped for IMO. I just hope KC doesn't screw around with the starting rotation like he did with this last game. I got the feeling that KC just wanted to try some new stuff and see what happened. With the change in the starting lineup and Mann starting on the mound it seemed as though the lackadaisical attitude permeated the dugout. If we win okay. If we lose okay. We're in no matter what. Forgive me, but I'm going in to today's game with a do or die attitude. We needed this sweep in a big way for more than one reason. 1) The momentum is a big plus. 2) If we beat Stetson & ETSU beats Mercer we face them again. The sweep is a big psycological plus. 3) The momentum is a big plus.
In case you haven't noticed, I'm not 100% behind KC and some of his decisions, from player usage; play calls (Albano bunting???? with men on 1st & 3rd and no outs. Our 3rd highest BA and 3rd highest RBI guy????) and pitching changes (Crotta once again giving up runs in a relief situation to give the opponent life).
Just my opinion for what it's worth. At least now I feel better.
Good luck to the Owls in Deland.
