Make it two…Owls manage just five hits on Saturday, but make the most of them to blank MTSU 3-0 and pick up their fourth straight win.

JUCO transfer Paul Davis threw 8 2/3 innings for FAU before Hugh Adams picked up the save.

Raymond Church's 2 RBI fifth inning double was the big hit on the afternoon, driving in Nick Delguidice and Sean Bukovich who each went 2-of-3 for Florida Atlantic.

The SWEEP is on!

DH Mike Spano went 2-of-4 with three RBI, and LF Alex Hudak was 3-of-3 with one RBI….the Owls will host Bethune Cookman on Wednesday @ 4:00 p.m. before heading to UL for their first conference road swing next weekend.

Davis get's the POW nod for his performance…

"Junior right-hander Paul Davis tossed his second consecutive gem, throwing 8.2 scoreless innings in picking up his team-leading fifth victory in a 3-0 win over Middle Tennessee on Saturday, March 26. The junior college transfer struck out seven batters and scattered nine base hits to shut down the Blue Raiders.

Davis retired the first eight batters he faced and did not allow a base runner to reach scoring position until the sixth inning. He leads the Sun Belt Conference with a 1.30 earned run average and has allowed just two runs in 17.2 innings pitched in two league starts. Of the nine base hits he surrendered on Saturday, none of them went for extra bases. He stands 5-0 on the season and has an amazing 32 strikeouts to three walks issued on the season in 33 innings pitched."
