Anyone notice that with todays Belmot loss along with a FAU women's basketball win that FAU is tied for first in the A-Sun!!!

Season ends with FAU at Belmont. Conference showdown.

I saw it on the FAU web site. Like I said in another thread. FAU has developed a great women's athletic program. We need to give them all our support!!!

The Owl women played smart and tough late last night to win.

It was my first FAU women's game and I must say it was exciting and very entertaining. I recommend it to anyone.

The atmosphere was pretty good, depsite a small crowd. The band sounded great.

Frank Brogan was on the floor last night for the first time since he mistakenly allowed a subordinate to unfairly fire the band director. Brogan still has not returned to the floor, nor had any contact with the band (he used to speak with thew director and players all the time) at a men's game since the controversy.

The women's coach, Chancellor Dugan (sp?), did come over to the band and thank members for all their support - they were the main cheering section last night.
