UCF beat FAU 8-1 to drop the Owls to 25-16,12-11 on the year. UCF ace Tim Bascom was way too much for FAU and cruised tonight for the Knights. Mike McBryde started this game at Pitcher instead of Centerfield-which was quite a shock considering he closed for FAU Friday night. Hopefully this will be the last time we see him in that role because like most closers turned starters he started out strong for the first three or four innings and then faded. Also when he starts we lose his super defense in centerfield and I think it will hurt his hitting(which so badly need) being a starting pitcher.
The deciding game will be Sunday at 1pm-lets all hope for the best!
