What is Florida Southeastern (17-4 / 3-1)?
University of Florida, Southeastern Conference
If we had just taken one game from UNC I think that would have made a difference in the voting.

Dont know if you all know this, but the only voting coach we play against is Bethune Cookmans. It wouldnt hurt to beat the pants off them to help start getting votes and praise for the espn usa today coaches poll.

Re: We're receiving votes in NCBWA poll
I always wondered why Cooney wasn't on the voting committee. But, judging by the committee list it seems to be mostly coaches that have nothing better to do. ;D
The 2008 board: Terry Alexander, Jacksonville; John Anderson, Minnesota; Ed Blankmeyer, St. John's; Buddy Bolding, Longwood; Roger Cador, Southern; Rob Cooper, Wright State; Sherman Corbett, Texas-San Antonio; Tim Corbin, Vanderbilt; Mike Gaski, North Carolina-Greensboro; Nino Giarratano, San Francisco; Gary Gilmore, Coastal Carolina; Keith Guttin, Missouri State; Danny Hall, Georgia Tech; Loren Hibbs, Charlotte; Charlie Hickey, Central Connecticut State; Steve Jaksa, Central Michigan; Rick Jones, Tulane; Steve Kittrell, South Alabama; Ken Knutson, Washington; Kevin Leighton, Manhattan; Gary McClure, Austin Peay; Mervyl Melendez, Bethune-Cookman; Gary Powers, Nevada; Mark Scalf, North Carolina-Wilmington; Jim Schlossnagle, TCU; Tim Sinicki, Binghamton; Steve Smith, Baylor; Joe Sottolano, Army; Joe Walsh, Harvard; Rob Walton, Oral Roberts; Mike Weathers, Long Beach State.
