It's not on a viewable page yet, but if you go to www.fausports.com there is a pop up…The "official" T-Shirt is included with a game ticket purchase…

At the Troy Blue-out there were still 30-40% of people wearing other colors. I know SGA promoted the hell out of it so I wonder what needs to be done to get people to understand they have to wear blue to the game. I asked Dexter LaMont to include some sort of instructions with season tickets to wear blue to the games… I doubt any of you season ticket holders got anything like that, right?

If you want to know what needs to be done I'll put in my two cents…. If you want to have a blue out you can't just rely on everyone to wear Blue, we're not big enough yet for that to happen. Every fan walking into the stadium should be handed a blue out FAU T-shirt or any fan not wearing Blue should be handed a T-shirt (unless of course they're rooting for the other team). I know it was promoted a lot and a lot of people got the message but when I was at the game and yelling at people who weren't wearing Blue and said hey where's your Blue shirt? Their response was I don't have any Blue Shirts.
In my opinion FAU should print out enough T-Shirts for everyone to get. So say maybe 15,000 shirts. I know it is a lot of money especially the way the economy is right now and FAU being cheap and not wanting to spend money on anything but that's the only way to do it. Have people at each entrance handing out Blue T-Shirts and then you'll see the result when it's a true blue out and then next season again when people have Blue shirts or during basketball season everyone will still be wearing their blue t-shirts.
My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!

You are right, Jab. The only way to almost guarantee people wear blue shirts is to hand them out..at about $3-4 a shirt cost to FAU though.
But other hurdles come in to play to, like
"I don't want a shirt."
"What am I going to do with that shirt when I have this one on?"
"I'm here to watch the band, and they wear white"
"But this FAU shirt is red"
etc.

Of course Smitty everyone will have an excuse. No matter what you do someone will make some kind of an excuse. I know it's expensive but to truly have a blue out in my opinion that's the only way to do it. It's expensive but it could pay off in the long run when you advertise a blue out for next season and instead of 40% of people wearing blue, now 85% of people have Blue.
Don't know if this is a possibility but how about handing kids True Blue shirts or any kind of Blue FAU shirt at their freshman orientation. Here's your owl book and your blue T-shirt. Then all the incoming freshman can't use the excuse "I don't have any blue shirts" and we all know no one's going to go out buy one if they think they can get one for free
