Bolles standout defender Matt Chaney can play several positions. That's what Florida Atlantic liked most about him. The 6-3, 260-pound Chaney committed to the Owls.
"They are moving to a 3-4 defense," Chaney said. "If they want me to play nose, I can gain 20 or 30 pounds. If they want me to play outside linebacker, I can drop 10 or 15 pounds and gain a step."
Chaney chose FAU over offers from Navy, Arkansas State and Elon.
"When I took my visit to FAU a couple weekend ago, it was 35 degrees in Jacksonville," Chaney said. "In Boca Raton, it was 75 degrees."
