Anyone have any information about Fan Fest and the date for it this year ?

Last I heard the date was Aug. 18th; two weeks before the MTSU game and one week before students come back for fall.

For all those in town – start by bringing your RED SHOVELS to Fan Fest !!

We are less than 1 month away from the start of school and the fall sports season. Does anyone know why there has been no advertising for this event yet ?

I do hope it is the weekend after school starts. Need to bring those students out to the TRACK to see their Owls and enjoy a day of sports and fun.

The weekend after school starts is the MTSU game.

I could be wrong but isn't there usually an off week between Fan Fest and the first game? So, having Fan Fest on Aug 25 would mean the Fall semester residents will be on campus for the game but you lose the week of rest before the season opens.
