I know this is a bit early, but after Troy's game tonight, looks like it is gonna be a tough game!
Oh yeah. After the recent success, including holding their own against UF, I'm more than a bit worried about the Troy game.
That being said, I think we're the two best teams in the conference and I think it's going to be an exciting battle. I hope it's a nailbiter.

That being said, we won't have to worry about Troy if we don't take care of our SunBelt buisness before then. Right now its all about North Texas, and the mean green. Lets get to 2-0 in the SunBelt.

The Owls can play the spread very effectively…
Auburn cant.
Troy will be a good team, but we will have our equal chance to win it - period.
This is still subject to my preaseason prediction that Omar will bow out to inury…
If they lose him, season's over for the Helen's of Troy…

Omar is tough. He has a bruised finger, but has been pretty accurate despite the injury. If Troy's conservative coach hadn't called off the dogs and gone to an ineffective run-up-the-middle offense for the entire fourth quarter, the Trojans would have easily hung 60 on OSU, and Omar would have had 400-plus yards by the air.
And they left points on the field before the half by running out of TOs and not getting out of bounds.
Next year look for a couple of excellent QBs (one redshirted this year who had offers at Kentucky, South Carolina and elsewhere). He's a spread specialist.
Troy's supposedly solid D-line needs to be shored up. It is not producing and Troy has been susceptible to the run. Pass defense is pretty good on the Wiregrass. I'm a bit worried about a letdown game this weekend verus a very P.O.'d (loss to McNeese State) ULL.
