I'm shocked. Maybe he'll get a grad assistant job.

News just broke to us as well. Not this is a shock that nobody saw coming.

The future is now in the hands of Robinson and/or Johnson.

Love that he tagged all of the coaches that helped him along the way in his announcement. This won't be the last we hear from Jason, this kid is going places off the field.

What makes you think he transfers at this point? Unless he loses the job badly in spring practice.

Who said anything about transferring?

He's going to graduate in the Spring…

A little bird told me that he might have had enough with football.

Honestly the hero of the season. Would not have imagined I'd say that about him in the past but he had a great final season and that letter is very classy.

Well done, Driskel.

Best of luck to you moving forward!

So now the question turns to the QBs who we still have.  That is a whole lot of leadership (and experience) who just "retired" from the program.   Is Johnson going to be able to play football?  If not, do we only have 1 QB option?

Not looking at a roster and don't know what QB recruiting targets we have.  We expect Robison is a stud, but we need more than 1 QB.

Wish he was staying. Wanted to see him manage the Sooners game next year. With that being said, good engineers are hard to come by and there's no doubt Jason will excel at his craft. Now if we was a ME, I'd hire him.

Best of luck Jason and God bless!

Go Owls!
