…The Bucs lightened the roster by one on Tuesday, releasing rookie tackle Kevin Fischer.

An undrafted free agent out of Florida Atlantic, Fischer had earned a contract after standing out in a spring tryout camp for rookies and first-year players. He opened training camp on the PUP (physically unable to perform) list but was activated and able to practice on Monday.

Unfortunately, one down……..

FYI: Jared is currently listed as fourth on the Bucs' depth chart behind Griese, Simms and Luke McCown.

Thanks for the update. Fisher may catch on somewhere because it's still early enough for someone to take a look at him.

HC Gruden talked at length about the 3 main QB's this weekend. Simms is now battling Griese for the starting spot. Yeah Right!
McCown and the left out QB were mentioned as looking at the back-up slot.

Jared wasn't mentioned in the conversation.
