Hawaii jumped ship from the fast sinking  WAC to the Mtn. West in football today.

It is now thought that the Mtn. West is looking to add two more teams to get to twelve to be able to hold a conference championship game. Among prime targets are UTEP and Houston from CUSA.

If that happens look for two things to happen;

1. Big East also expand to twelve to also hold a conference championship game and to stay ahead of the Mtn. West in the battle for that final auto bid to the BCS. The prime targets there would be UCF and Memphis of CUSA.

2. CUSA may find itself in need of replacing four member to maintain their conference championship game and FIU and FAU would both then be targets for their media markets and to maintain a presence in the state of Florida.

We shall see but the dominos continue to fall!

With UCF being ranked # 25 in football this season, their BBall team just beating UF I think they're making a pretty strong case for the Big East over Memphis. I hope UCF does go to the Big East and then we can hopefully move up to C-USA.

I think with a better division, an on campus stadium and better and more well known opponents coming to Boca you'll see an increase in attendance in all sports. I'm also hoping FIU does move up with us. I don't want to lose that rivalry. USF has UCF.. FAU should have FIU

I'm hoping for some news for FAU football this week.  You can't expect our AD and our program to be silent after a total train wreck season ???  We need some changes or some good news or something!

Like we just joined the Mtn. West - ha ha! Well, we can join the WAC right now if we wanted too but since NT turned them down I guess we should too.

But I gotta say, CUSA sure sounds nice, but at least in a year the Belt will be ahead of the WAC! Go Owls!!!

I would like both FAU & FIU to go to CUSA.. that would be just fine by me.
