Jason harmon and The Jacksonville Jaguars?

Anyone been able to find anything on Harmon?

I found Titans stuff fairly easily and have been happy to post it.

Cant seem to find out a whole lot about Jags OTA and Mini camps.

All I've found was an article from May 5th saying that he didn't participate in OTAs because he was injured but the person writing the article did not know what was wrong with him

My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!

Hopefully it's nothing serious…injuries when you are a FA… :'(

Re: Jason harmon and The Jacksonville Jaguars?

Jason had been held out of OTAs with a hamstring injury, the Jaguars were being very cautious with him.  The main thing is that he is ready for Training Camp.  That said, he is supposed to be participating again this week in the OTAs.

Re: Jason harmon and The Jacksonville Jaguars?

In their first wave of roster moves, the Jaguars cut six players from the team yesterday, including an undrafted FA WR… but it wasn't Jason Harmon.

All Articles - jaguars.com
"Today’s moves give the Jaguars an 80-man roster, which is the limit for training camp. The Jaguars are scheduled to report to training camp on Thursday, July 29 with the first practice scheduled on Friday, July 30."

Jason is still one of 10 wideouts on the team and is tied with starter Mike Sims-Walker for second biggest WR.

81 Osgood, Kassim      WR 6-5 220  30  8 San Diego State
11 Sims-Walker, Mike   WR 6-2 214  25 4 Central Florida
83 Harmon, Jason        WR 6-2 214  23 R Florida Atlantic
16 Hughes, Nate         WR 6-2 195  25 2 Alcorn State
84 Williamson, Troy      WR 6-1 203  27 6 South Carolina
19 Underwood, Tiquan   WR 6-1 183  23 2 Rutgers
13 Denmark, Clarence   WR 5-11 185 24 1 Arkansas-Monticello
87 Dillard, Jarett          WR 5-10 187 24 2 Rice
18 Thomas, Roren        WR 5-10 172 22 R Lindenwood
80 Thomas, Mike          WR 5-8 198 23 2 Arizona

NFL teams typically keep 6 WRs on the roster during the season.

Re: Jason harmon and The Jacksonville Jaguars?

I saw him on the local news up here when  the Jags had a free clinic for kids, that was a few weeks ago.

Re: Jason harmon and The Jacksonville Jaguars?

I've not had an opportunity to talk with Jason's family lately, I keep just missing them plus I don't want to be a pest.  So has anyone heard anything lately?  I saw on some forum under Big Cat Country or something like that, that a blogger was up in Jason's nuts because he dropped a couple of passes.  He even said that one ball was overthrown but that Jason got his hands on it so he should've caught it.  It all came across like the blogger had something against Jason for some reason.

Anyway, when I talk to him or his parents again, I'll post on here.

Re: Jason harmon and The Jacksonville Jaguars?

He was cut last week along with Willie Rose from the Titans.

Injurys did them in.

If they had stayed healthy they might of had a shot. UDFA's have to have EVERYTHING go right for them to make the team and unfortuantely it didnt for Harmon and Rose.
