Yes, on paper this looks like a blowout at home for the Herd. FAU has a lot to prove on the road and against the top team in CUSA is going to be a challenge. I think this game will be closer than the spread of 28 points.
Final Score: FAU 24, Marshall 35.

28 points is a bit much in my opinion. This isn't Nebraska or Alabama. Marshall is a great team that is very explosive but their not 28 points better than FAU. Against Nebraska & Alabama they had a distinct disadvantage in the trenches. I dont see that when comparing Marshall & FAU. Especially considering FIU played them tight for about 2 quarters. The score will be much closer, and seeing as how Marshall has never played with these type of expectations, if FAU keeps it close they could play tight.
