When the Wagner Seahawks take the field tonight, a player with Florida Atlantic ties will be standing on the visitor's sideline.

Redshirt freshmen Caylin Mcbeth is the cousin of former FAU and current Houston Texan wide receiver Lestar Jean.

A product of American High School in Hialeah, the wide receiver says that the two stay in touch and talk often.

The game won't mark the first time Mcbeth has been to Boca Raton, during his high school days he frequently participated in 7-on-7 tournaments on campus.

While it may appear the FAU connection may stop there for Mcbeth, he also is the high school teammate of the Owls' starting cornerback  D’Joun Smith.

Look for Mcbeth to be wearing #81 tonight for Wagner.
