I just read on the UM web page that they just reached an agreement with Best Buy to help finance a new UM 50,000 seat stadium. Best Buy will kick in 2.5 mil. The rest will come from other sources including the state of MN.

Anyone heard about the FAU stadium proposals?

I think the FAU stadium will happen too. Just not as fast as we'd like for it to happen. "Event scheduling" may make a differences. AGAIN.

The Sun-Sentinel has an article concerning the (3) Stadium proposals - they have yet been reviewed as of yet. It does appear that the Innovation Village Idea could happen and combined with a Hotel on site (plus the Medical ward) this could be a huge deal with the types of events that can be drawn to the Dome Stadium and could help get the deal done.
