SIgned up today, cant get too much College Football in my life.

As usualy not getting any respect, and I for one am thankful. Lets fly in there under the radar and hope for the best.

Lets just pray Jay Warman doesnt go around publishing coach's comments again this year for the whole world to see.

We still have not given Nebraska a reason to respect us. We have been dominated by the BIG12 so far and until we prove we can come away with a win we are not going to get respect from BIG12 teams.

As you said, that is just fine. Eventually we are going to sneak up on somebody. Hopefully it is this year.

They're not saying a whole lot except that they should be fine and they're predicting scores like the Texas vs FAU game.

If they truly believe that, they are in for a SHOCK…and need to so some research on this team…

They are by no means Texas of last season…and we will be by no means the team we put on the field either…

This game with be decided by 10 points or less…

Our passing game will present huge problems for them…

On the flip, our secondary will present an opportunity for them as well…

Regardless, no wood shed spankin' here.

Jay Warman is a…. Well everyone knows how I feel, anyway. I wouldn't be surprised if this was the same as the Texas game last year. I hope I'm wrong but we have yet to beat a decent BCS team especially on the road. We beat a really bad Minnesota team at Dolphin Stadium. The closest we've come was Michigan State last year, we should have won that game. Gent dropping the ball 16x doesn't help.

In either case we lost our best defensive player and our only RB to ever run for a 1,000 yards, and the kid who's been snapping the ball to Rusty the last 3 years. We are breaking in a new O-Coordinator and a new QB coach. Our D has been a disaster for a few seasons now and while I ultimately think we'll have a winning football season I don't think we'll even come close to beating Nebraska or S. Carolina.

I think if we played this game in the middle of the season after we've had time to gel and get all the kinks out of the way then maybe we would stand a chance.

Again I hope I'm wrong but I can see us losing something like 41-14

We've got some serious talent at RB…don't see an issue there…and our whole receiving core returns for Rusty…

Agree…D will be a question mark…but the line can only get better!

Just got done with history lesson myself, I learned a long time ago in history Nebraska was relevant in the college football world.

So did Clemson… they came away with 4 net rushing yards…. We return a great line and have some absolute studs at the LB position… I've seen some people point to losing Cody Glenn at LB but he didn't even play down the stretch or against Clemson….


I would honestly say FAU is getting a decent amount of respect from people that know a little bit about college football.. I mean, the person that posted there has their only post in the "look-alike" thread where the 2nd post is….

Florida Atlantic was actually playing good ball at the end of the season. We should beat them but they won't be a pushover.

People understand that FAU is a decent team.  However, when you expect to get respect from a BCS conference team, especially one that has the history of NU (yes i understand, the past isn't the present) and the bright looking near future, you probably need to have done damage to a school of similar caliber…  Looking forward to Football season and anyone that comes down to Lincoln won't be disappointed..  If rivals can say they have great experiences with Lincoln, I really don't see how you would have any!!! Hope to see some of you down here!  Good Luck
