Our kickers

Before we went up by alot, I was like "Good lord, I hope this isn't like USF all over again". Two extra points missed, and a missed field goal yet coach still had left Leroy in. I guess Coach just wanted to stick with him, maybe cuz he's a senior? Was that the walk-on from Auburn who was doing the kick offs? Because he could boot it, I never see Leroy kick it in the endzone or even near it, and that dude was booming them. I think he'll having the starting job next year if he keeps kicking like that.

Re: Our kickers

Give it a rest man. Leroy is the field goal kicker. Lockhart's field is a mess. Also both the extra points were blocked and if you were there you saw how bad the blocking was because once they blocked for him he was ok. The kid is 10 for 13 there are a lot of schools who would love to have a kicker with that kind of percentage. So be a positive fan. On the other hand way to go DEFENSE that was a pleasure to watch.

I don't know if you were at the game or at any of the games last season but I'm sorry Warley is NOT a good FG kicker. "The kid is 10 for 13 there are a lot of schools who would love to have a kicker with that kind of percentage." They can have him! It has nothing to do with the field conditions. He missed an XP last year against FIU at the OB. He's missed them at Dolphin Stadium as well. I'm sure he's doing his best and I for one could never do what he does but the sooner he graduates and leaves the happier I'll be.

My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!

Yes. #30, Ross Gornall.

He did an excellent job tonight.

Re: Our kickers

The two blocked extra points and missed field goal yesterday were unacceptable and would have been deadly if ULL mounted an earlier comeback...

Nice of you to come to his defense and yes two extra points were blocked or partially  blocked but he missed a chip shot field goal.  He is not a great kicker  but he has had his moments.

GO OWLS!

Re: Our kickers

I think Leroy has done a fine job this season.  Up until the first quarter yesterday, he's been very solid.  He doesn't have the strongest leg, but he's done the job so far.  If you don't like him, you'll only have to watch him kick 2…hopefully 3 more games.

As for next year, I thought #30 was great on kickoffs yesterday.  Hoe many years of eligibility does he have left?  I don't know how accurate he is on FGs, but he can really boom kickoffs.  He could be a real weapon next season.

Re: Our kickers

Can't really blame Leroy for missing the two extra points - bad snap & bad hold

The Field goal attempt that is a different story - just kicked it well you know the out come -BAD

Re: Our kickers

About the missed FG, ULL got the ball, turned it over right away and we scored 6 instead of 3 so it turned out for the best. Seems like everything went our way yesterday until the 4th qtr.
