Per FAU - Ticket Status
"Yes, we do have some seats left on the visitors sidelines in section 119"
"We only have a handful of tickets left on the FAU sideline…they are scattered about"
"Yes, there are plenty of tickets left in the endzones"
"Ticketmaster only can sell what we give them. So, as soon as that runs out, they will show a sold-out message on their website. Then we give them more."
Hope this helps keeps things accurate for those still trying to make some arrangements…
Good news is that we are even keel with them right now…….
BUT THAT NEEDS TO CHANGE…….

What happens to students? Is the entire end zone reserved? Each FAU student has already paid for their ticket, but to get in students just show IDs (without a reserved seat or section).
Students need to learn that they are not guaranteed football tickets just because they pay athletic fees. If that was the case, then we would theoretically have "sold" over 25,000 tickets for each home game and FAU would announce a sellout every time, whether the students show up for games or not.
Until the students start using up their allotment of reserved seat I don't think this is even an issue.

I heard that FIU students were upset about the possiblity of limited student admissions to the last FIU/UM game for a very similar reason.CanadianOwl said

we had some students at USF saying the same thing about the WVU game but if you want tickets then camp out like the rest of the student body.owlcountry said

Well you always played at Raymond James, never been there but I hear its really nice. I don't think you really want to camp out, outside of Lockhart probably not a good idea.Just wait until you see lockhart! It's a thing of beauty! haha
How many does Ray J hold? It was cool to see that many people at Ray J rooting for USF good for them. I'd wish you guys luck just not next week. Go Owls!
My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!

Excuse me?
ummm, then who is PAYING FOR THE GAME?
actually thats about the most UNFAIR thing that exsist in cases such as FAU - where they depnd almost entirely on STUDENT FEES, then try to turn around and act like they have a product to offer the general public that was generated by private monies and or donations - YEAH RIGHT…Oklahoma we ARE NOT…they are completely self funded…as it ought to be…now, of course i am arguing this from the standpoint that they want to go to this game - that is certainly not always the case…
STUDENTS pay for 90% of the athletic budget…so, this goes to reason:
They are charging twice for tickets when there is a student wants to go for the game and is turned away for a "paid" attendee - because the student paid for it in the first place with athletics fees…
Not only that, but they send them to the endzones to wastch the game…another 25 yards away due to the track…
GROSS.
There should not be one student turned down for this game - period.
