Re: Rusty weighing surgery...
Anyway, Ted was kind to offer that Rusty opted out of the surgery based on a couple of key factors:
1. The injury will heal in time for the combines.
2. The surgery would not have prevented a future injury.
After all, it's not his throwing shoulder and, surgery is invasive - period.
The body is designed to heal itself with proper nutrition and regimen…
Believe he made the right choice…

Re: Rusty weighing surgery...
I suffered a pretty severe rotator-cuff injury about 3 years ago (playing softball thinking I was 18 again).
I elected not to have surgery as well…lots of rehabbing (very painful) and was told later that I made a good decision. I have no ill effect from that injury.
Six to eight weeks of rehab will probably get Rusty back to where he can get ready for the combines.

a "complete" A/C separation…third degree acromioclavicular ligament tear, will NEVER - EVER heal on its own unless Jesus Christ himself comes back to heal it
And I thought I had good insurance!
