Anyone with a background in electrical engineering/audio/visual? For instance, does anyone know how the video scoreboard at the football stadium works, is it a hard wire that runs the video to the board or does it pick up a wireless signal sent out from the A/V box?

I'm just wondering if it would be possible to create an iPad app that would allow you to watch replays/video from the scoreboard after they've played there, maybe save your favorites and publish them online, that sort of thing?

If that were the case and you had an iPad, you could basically have your own little videoboard right in your lap.
