Thought I'd post this about one of our returning players. Taheem played 2 years ago at FS and SS. He even got to start on several occasions in 2004. He tore up his leg last year(05) during spring and took the year off. He's now looking like true stud. He looks like he's about 6'1 215. A true size SS at the spot.

Bartels and Joseph may battle for the FS spot. Bartels played with a lot of enthusiasm and Joseph started FS last year as a freshman so he can only get better.

The big question in my mind. How about the big FB, Sanchez. Is he returning? Is he returning at 100%.

I haven't heard about Sanchez's rehab recently. But I mentioned a very able replacement several months ago. Willie Rose. Approx the same size as Sanchez but FASTER. True freshman last year at 6'0 and growing. He may check in this year at a 220+ playing weight! He also injured himself last year but the coaches loved him at FB.
