Sebastian River's Clark signs with FAU
SEBASTIAN — Sebastian River High School senior Stephan Clark had no idea he was even on Florida Atlantic University's radar when the school's wide receivers coach Jared Allen showed up at a mid-season practice to watch him.
The Owls had seen Clark while checking film of a Vero Beach player and apparently liked what they saw when Clark returned a kickoff 80 yards for a touchdown.
Clark remained in constant contact with Allen after that and decided after an official visit Jan. 16 that FAU was the "right fit" for him. The All-Area first team receiver signed a national letter of intent with the Owls on Wednesday in a ceremony in front of family, friends and administrators at Sebastian River.
