FAU, Moe's Southwest Grill Host Free Youth Clinic in Boynton Beach

The Florida Atlantic University men's basketball program, in conjunction with Moe's Southwest Grill and the Palm Beach County Boys and Girls Club, are hosting a free basketball clinic for area youth. The clinic will take place on Sunday, May 3 from noon to 3 p.m. outside of Moe's Southwest Grill, 970 N. Congress Ave., Suite 140, in Boynton Beach.

FAU coaches and members of the men's basketball team will be on hand to conduct drills and offer individual instruction. Participating youngsters will be offered discounted meal coupons and will have the chance to win prizes. Moe's current menu offerings include kids-sized tacos, quesadillas and burritos.

Children ages 6 to 18 are encouraged to attend. The Palm Beach County Boys and Girls Club serves more than 7,500 children, who find positive role models, learn healthy values and participate in challenging, fun programs which include educational and sports-related activities.

"We really excited to be working with Moe's and the Palm Beach County Boys and Girls Club," said Florida Atlantic associate head men's basketball coach Mike Jarvis II. "This will be the beginning of FAU men's basketball doing more outreach in the local community."

For more information, contact the FAU men's basketball office at 561-297-0097 or the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County at 561-683-3287.
