Notables
FAU fought off a second half comeback from Flagler to open the season with a 11 point victory. In the win, transfer guard Cornelius "scooter" Taylor had a team high 20 points thanks to a 7-10 FG shooting night.
Coming back from injury Jailyn Ingram, Jayleen Sebree, and Everett Winchester all saw limited playing time, with 17, 14, and 10 minutes played respectively. Expect those numbers to increase Friday as FAU will need to rely on it's upperclassman leaders against the ACC caliber roster.

That being said, I love the way May has these kids playing. Definitely will be attending games this season.
1. Too many turnovers - credit Cane D.
2. Points in the Paint.
The second is somewhat ironic considering we are out-rebounding them overall.
THAT is a BIG plus for us though…very encouraging to see us taking the rim game against a team with UM's size and athleticism…looking forward to conference play where that trait will be HUGE for us.
FINAL. #Miami 74 - #FAU 60.
