Question about Celebration/Game Sat

I just have a question about the celebration/basketball game on Saturday. I know they don't charge parking for womens games but are they charging for parking for the celebration? I plan on getting there around 3ish or just before 3 and then tailgating until the mens game, anyone have any idea?

My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!

Re: Question about Celebration/Game Sat

Well they don't charge for women's games so unless they are charging to park for this celebration I don't see how they can charge us to park when we've been in the parking lot for 3 hours already

Re: Question about Celebration/Game Sat

from hutton's blog a couple weeks ago:

"The event is free, and everyone who comes will get a commemorative New Orleans Bowl ticket autographed by The Voice. The first 1,000 fans will also receive a NOB championship poster.

Fans can also get ticket information for the 2008 football season and t-shirts and other goodies will be on sale. Should be a good time. Unfortunately I will be in Washington D.C. to cover Panthers vs. Capitols. Those plans were made before the date of the bash was announced, or I would have tried to make a trade.

The event will be followed by a women’s and men’s basketball doubleheader vs. North Texas. I am told those who stay in the gym will get to watch the b-ball games for free, and there will not be any parking fee for the football celebration."

i can't see how they'd charge for parking after one has been there all day for free to the football celebration and the women's game… it's gotta be free
