Will Hernandez and Owens spark the OWLS Offense with their arrival?
Hernandez is a given, just as soon as grades are in…should be by the 15th of December…
Owen's is still TBD, but he was supposed to be in for the first home game - obviously that didnt happen…BUT, can't see it being much longer…
So, here it is:
Still lamenting the loss of Rice, Holley, and now Graham (three of the top four offensive performers from last year), will the arrival of these two OWLS yet to take the hardwood this season inspire and bring a resurgance offensively?

It looks like the players need to loosen up a bit & remember to FUN out their - enjoy the game.
Thinks may not have gotten off to the best of starts, but I think Rex will get the boys playing better soon.

I assume Hernandez is practicing with the team so the 20th makes sense. He can step right in and provide a force down low. It'd be nice to see Owens but remember he is a freshman, and it's tough to say what you're going to get right away.
I agree, and would like to add this:
Rex has not mentioned any of the new comers offensively, EXCEPT Owens, and Hernandez when asked to comment on them…Not Perkins…not Hughley…and not Royster…
He has steered clear of this…But he has commented on other aspetcs of thier games individually…
The reason i raise the poll (must admit i have my own "opinion" as to how things will pan out) is based on this premise…
Rex is a realist…hes not a "glass is half empty" guy…and he's not a "pie in the sky" guy…
So, when he says things like "Jamal is going to be fun to watch"…that tells me something…
When he says "Sammy offers a nice mid range game offensively", that tells me something as well…
He has said nothing of the sort about any other new player offensively…
*Tick* *Tock*…we shall see soon enough…

My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!

Is Hernandez going to be in the line up tomorrow? He is eligible now, right? Is he starting or will he come off the bench at first?
i was told that he would not be eligible until the 20th's game…
however, the only thing that is holding him back from playing is just grades being in the system for fall…once that has happened, the semester is offcially "over"…they go by academic calander…
so, we could, or could not see him depending on the grades…
i would like to…but i also think that we will win the game regardless, so it may be of benefit to keep him out and "surprise" our SBC opponent Thursday night…and Rex may do this…
i would say the odds of him getting in in are 50/50 at present…
now, Owens is another thing entirely…this guy has got to get into the line up at some point..injury was the only thing with him…and he was supposed to be back already…
