Alumnus Jordan Swick Named Assistant Cross Country Coach

Florida Atlantic University Athletics has named Jordan Swick to its coaching staff as a volunteer assistant to head coach Alex Smolka.

“It’s always great to have an alumnus return to help the program and Jordan will help in a variety of ways,” said Smolka.

Zwick transferred to FAU after playing one year of men’s golf at American University in Washington, D.C. While at FAU, he broke school records in the 3,000 and 5,000 meters for the Owls during the 2006-07 season. After graduation, Zwick moved on to the University of San Francisco to pursue his MBA. While at USF, he finished in the top-20 at the 2008 West Coast Conference Championships. He is currently seeking his second master’s degree in economics, in addition to his coaching duties.

“It’s a great opportunity to return to my alma mater and help build the program,” said Zwick. “I look forward to helping the program as much as possible.”
