Question about FAU's Athletic Site (FAUSPORTS.COM)

Does FAU get revenue based on number of views of the website or is it based on clicks of sponsors?  If its views I recommend all loyal owls visit often, if its clicks then click away.

Florida_Owl, you worked in marketing, right? Do you know how much all their stuff costs… for instance, how much do they pay for each billboard?

Do you know how much it costs to advertise on the side of Palm Trans?

Or how much it would cost to have someone skywrite "Go Owls" over the stadium before the first home game in 2010?

Dexter was hired to fill my former role…they also have others doing what i did; which was about three jobs in total - marketing and ops director and announcer for all arena venues…

I dont know what they pay now…back then the billboard was anywhere from $2-4k per month depending on location…

The buses were never of interest so i have no idea of their rate plan…

you could get a skywriter, pending the weather to be able to pull it off, for about $500…

but about the only good months for it are Jan - Mar…upper level clouds and possible prohibitive winds are a killer during the late summer and fall…
