The Florida Atlantic University volleyball team lost to rival FIU in three sets.

Christina Wallinger had 14 kills to lead all players in her first match of the season. Wallinger also had a match-high four block assists. Kristyna Dzmuranova led the Owls (3-11, 2-4 Sun Belt) with 12 digs on the evening.

FAU continues their three match road trip when they travel to Denton to take on North Texas on Friday.  The match starts at 8 p.m. eastern.
