SLU Downs FAU in Women's Hoops
The Owls (3-7) received a season-high 22 points from Breana Turner and Vontrice Dennis finished one basket shy of a double-double with eight points and 11 rebounds.
The Billikens (5-7) led 31-25 at halftime despite going 0-for-4 from three-point range and committing 12 turnovers.
FAU tied the game at 35-35 but that is as close as they would get.
Ayriell Robinson paced SLU with a career-high 20 points. Mallory Eggert recorded 11 points and a career-high 16 rebounds in addition to notching the first double-double of her career.
The Owls, who are winless on the road, did not hold a lead in the game.
FAU next faces Kent State at 12:00 p.m on Tuesday.
