Tulsa Stands are 3 ft from bench

Watching the game tonight and they measured out the distance between the stands and the back bench and it was 3 ft.

The question then becomes, do you guys like that idea? The Tulsa Fans were screaming at the Boise State players from only a couple of feet away.  I don't know if it works, but Tulsa is giving the number 5 team in the land a game.

It.s gotta be intimidating if not at least uncomfortable for the freshman at a minimum!

Dang…….

Game winning play, or game ending play…however it is viewed:

WR had the open field and the throw was just low.

Great effort though…wouldn't it be great for FAU to show like that against the number 5!

Lest I remind you that we did give the #6 team in the nation a game in 2007…..with Gornall on the team we would have won.

Re: Tulsa Stands are 3 ft from bench

I love the idea of stands being so close to the field – when I'm the home team – though I would prefer to sit a little higher. But that would be intimidating for visitors. The stands are very close to the visitors' bench at Folsom Field in Boulder, Colo., and that does have an impact on the players. It also gives the fans a feeling of being very, very close to the action when watching Colorado. A front-row seat is, well, great for seeing the backsides of players and hearing part of their conversations – but not that great a vantage point for seeing action on the other side of the field.
