Owl's Nest Pick 'Em Rules
These are four basic "rules" for participation in the Owl's Nest NCAA Football Weekly Pick 'Em, and entry deadlines will be posted in the Game Card Period Thread within The Pick 'Em Forum:
* One Point for each win on the Game Card.
* Confidence points and game spread choices may also be applied in addition to straight picks.
* Each weekly winner will receive a prize.
* Total Season Points will accumulate for a Grand Prize Winner.
Weekly Ties
Each week, two games to be designated "Tiebreak Games."
In any week where two or more players finish with the same number of points, the following tiebreakers are used in this order until the tie is broken:
* Closest to the total points for the first Tiebreak Game.
* Closest to the home team points for the first Tiebreak Game.
* Closest to the road team points for the first Tiebreak Game.
* Closest to the total points for the second Tiebreak Game.
* Closest to the home team points for the second Tiebreak Game.
* Closest to the road team points for the second Tiebreak Game.
* Closest to the school whose team scores the most points.
* Closest to the school whose team scores the least points.
* Whichever user had more points in the previous week (or the week before that if still tied, etc.).
Season Ties
At the end of the season, the following tie-breakers are used for College Pick'em groups in this order until the tie is broken:
* Week 14 points.
* Week 14 tiebreak predictions, if applicable.
* Week 13 fantasy points.
* Week 13 tiebreak predictions, if applicable.
* Week 12 fantasy points.
* Week 12 tiebreak predictions, if applicable.
* Week 11 fantasy points.
* Week 11 tiebreak predictions, if applicable.
* Week 10 through Week 1 fantasy points and tiebreak predictions, as above.
* If this does not break the tie, a Random coin flip by the administration team will be conducted.
