2. The other QBs were sharp, too. The quarterbacks didn't face a rush for most of the practice. And they weren't supposed to be hit, although Arizona's Calais Campbell banged into Young's right arm, prompting two coaches to shout "Stay off the quarterback.''

Kerry Collins was 9-of-11. Chris Simms was 11-of-16.

Said offensive coordinator Mike Heimerdinger: "We got a chance to see some blitzes we didn't see the other night, so that was good.''

Rusty Smith was only 1-of-2, but later he was nearly disrobed signing autographs. He inked and gave away his hat, shirt and cleats. When a lady asked for his shorts, he drew the line.
