"In a clip from a fourth-quarter drive in the 2006 Texas 5A high school football championship game, Dodge set up in the shotgun 5 yards behind the Southlake Carroll offensive line and abruptly vomited on the turf. Then he called for the snap and threw a perfect ball to a streaking receiver for the go-ahead score.

'I get asked about it all the time. They say, 'Oh, you're the kid that threw up!' " Dodge said. "I had the flu all week. I might have been embarrassed about it if I didn't throw the touchdown.'"
