Since its in the best interest for the conference to get more quality OOC wins, I was wondering what everyone thinks of the OOC lineup for 2008.  I feel for Troy who plays both LSU and Ohio State, but which games are up in the air?

Im with Trojan, Ulm may be able to also stun Tualane as well.  And Id expect WKU to beat their non conference 1-AA opponents

MTSU could get beat up with that OOC schedule, isn't their QB like 5'9" and < 200lbs, ouch.

I think ASU might have a shot against Memphis, might.

FIU needs to focus on just getting through without any major injuries or it could be another very long year for them.

I agree ULM has a shot at Tulane.

Agreed. What a year not to have Haugabook.

I think it's entirely reasonable for the SBC to be 0.500 or better against CUSA opponents this year.

I don't think WKU will have the same success against Bama that ULM did. On the ULM note, I'd be impressed if they knocked off another SEC school but it would more likely be Ole Miss than Auburn.

I expect ASU to make at least one big win while I expect FIU to make no big wins… just not their time yet.

Kansas State has been in a slump, I think that could be a toss-up for a high powered North Texas offense and maybe even for ULL.

Also Arkansas State can beat Memphis (as seen last year), FIU may be able to beat Toledo, North Texas may be able to come out ahead with their passing game against Rice and Tulsa, Troy may have a toss up for OK State but the losses (Haugabook esp.) may be too much.

somethin tells me that the MUTS will pull one out. Maybe Louisville or Maryland b/c of their struggles last year. Don't underestimate the MUTS, they almost pulled one out against UVA last year and have a strange ability to score points in bunches in random games (see vs Louisville and FIU last year)

I remember watching that MTSU Louisville game last year it was right after they played us and they woudn't stop scoring

I grew up an Arkansas fan, and they will lose to stinkers—plus a new coach, new offense, and arrogant coming off a victory over mighty Western Illinois.  Wouldn't be surprised to see ULM in that one.
