What a strange game! FAU rushed to a 6-0 lead after 2 innings led by a Fiorentino homer; but gave up 7 runs in the top of the third(6 unearned due to some unfortunate errors by Fonseca). It was 7-7 after 3 innings and it seemed like we might be scoring runs allnight but then it stayed that way till the bottom of the ninth with 2 outs and no one on for Rusty Brown to connect with the winning homer!!!
FAU goes for wins 31 and 32 tomorrow at noon-Lets get our first conference sweep of the year guys!!

Strange is right. The Owls are like Dr.Jekyl and Mr. Hyde. It was such a relief to see errorless baseball against BCC, which has been a rarity for us. It's a good thing the Fonz is hitting the ball 'cuz that's got to be the only thing keeping him in the lineup.
Wish we had somebody who could hit a first pitch curveball in the strike zone…..that's what was being thrown at them all night long.
I sure hope Beam and Crotta are up to the task because a sweep is essential.
