Athletes to Benefit from 2nd Annual FAU Best Darn Sports Auction


A week at Deer Valley, Two Nights in the Bahamas, Memorabilia, and Dinners will all be auctioned with proceeds going to the athletics scholarship fund.

It's the Best Darn Sports Auction, round two and all proceeds from the Florida Atlantic Department of Athletics event will benefit the Athletics scholarship fund.

"This is the second year we have hosted this event and we expect to have twice the fun," said Shelley Binegar, FAU's Director of the Owl Club. "We have taken inventory of the items that event goers enjoyed a year ago and have made every attempt to include similar items again in 2005."

The Second Annual Best Darn Sports Auction, scheduled for April 7, 2005 at the Boca Raton Marriott, will feature sports legend memorabilia, FAU athletic gear, dinners and leisure packages.
