…as yesterday-Ga.Tech pounded FAU right for the start tonight and coasted to a 12-3 win over FAU. I'd rather lose like this than how we lost on Friday night. At least Mike McBryde had a good day going 2 for 3 with a homer-hopefully he'll show no ill effects form yesterday on the mound either next time he pitches. Tim Mascia also had a good night going 3 for 4 with 2 RBI's. FAU dropped to 26-18 on the year with the loss. GA.Tech goes for the sweep tomorrow afternoon.
There is some good news-due to other results in the ASUN, FAU's chances of making the ASUN tournament are now VERY good. Mercer is coming to town Thursday and Friday and they are 3 games behind FAU so they will have to sweep in order to have a realistic shot at stealing our spot in the conference tournament.

Series like these hopefully have a good effect on the team - it may not show up in the winning column, but maybe, just maybe the players can see where there are and can step it up a nocth in time for tourny play. It appears that the potential is there and for them to possibly get a nice little winning streak and get some momentum going.
