FAU's Head Men's Basketball Coach, Matt Doherty, will appear on the Best Damn Sports Show on Wednesday, June 29th. The show will be taped Pool Side at the Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood. Owl Fans are invited to participate in the taping. Fans should arrive by 11:30 am and will be done by 2:00 pm. If you are interested in going, you need to RSVP with Jenny Donovan at 561-297-3710. Your name will then be placed on a list for the taping. There are limited spaces remaining and will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.



If you can not make it on Wednesday, June 29 the show will be taping there the entire week. You are welcome to attend any of the tapings Monday, June 27 through Friday, July 1 between 11:30 am and 2:00 pm. When you arrive at the Hard Rock please make sure to tell them you are with the FAU Owl Club.



The athletic department will receive $10 per person for those attending anytime throughout the week.

Doherty was on the Sunshine Networks Sports Talk at 7:00 PM tonight. They had three other guests and talked about basketball in the Pro's and College and did a segment with Doherty and his coming to the Owls.

I really like this guy, he is a very good speaker and is'nt shy of the camera. He really comes off as a pro with confident and knowledge of the game and players.

I am confident FAU will have a top program with in a very very short time frame.

All in all, great exposure for FAU and they better get the stadium up because between this guy and Schnelly they mean business
