Thanks for that info. I bought five of the pre-season college football mags last night, but I didn't have time to post the summary of projections. I'll try to do that tonight. All five had the Owls ranked lower than 100th. I think one was 106th. One was dead last (I think that was The Sporting News, though I'm not certain.) The general theme was problems with experience and size of lines on both sides of the ball.

I hope we pull out some upsets. I was surprised to see that Kevin Millar, the O-line kid who was huge wasn't a possible starter.

This could really effect attendance.

because south florida only shows up when team win. Look at the marlins. we struggle when doing great, I would be afraid if we were pulling a UCFin 04'…. no dis to fiu but they haven't done so well and there attendance is on par, so maybe it won't happen.
I would rather not even go there anyway.

Kevin will get his chance to unseat a veteran. I've never seen the young man play so I can't comment on his high school days. What I can say is that he has to learn a college system. No matter how undersized the existing line may be, they do have some experience on the team. That's the main factor. If Kevin is in the rotation for the 1st game then that's a great accomplishment for him.
I'm sure he'll do OK. As for his size, he's right in the mix.

UCF's 04 accomplishment is once in a lifetime achievement for ANY Florida teams. Never to be repeated this Millineium…. ;D

Thanks Grayowl, will have to hang on to this one for the end of the season for a comparison. That would be very interesting.
