You're right Markey, we were all holed up riding out a hurricane while FAU was beating Hawaii, what a night!

My family didn't ride the bus to the stadium but the feel of walking through all those drunk fans afterwards(parked about 1/2 mile away) was a little scary but chest thumping just the same!

That escort out of the stadium was really something! The fights and students went nuts after the game. Seemed like they mainly fought among themselves mostly! Did you ride the bus? I only had a few who really talked crap. Most were pretty funny but nothing serious. We had to go through some sort of sorority row of students outside in the lot. They tailgate there for that purpose after the games to harass the losers..LOL!
One huge guy who looked like Villi the Warrior, even offered to walk with us to our car but it really wasn't necessary.
I'll never forget that win. Gunslinger Timmy Chang and Chad "Mighty Mouse" Owens went down in Flames!!!

No, We hired a car at the hotel. I have a friend that lives in HI that went to the game with us and he wrned us ahead of time that there tends to be alot of fights etc., but like you said they tend to fight amongst themselves. He said it is usually between the Samoans and the Hawaiians. It's be going over foreever. We watched a big Samoan guy come up and instigate a fight with a guy that was cheering for FAU, but he wasn't with the group, he was trying to start trouble and got smacked pretty bad.
That trip was a blast, we stayed an extra week due to the hurricane, not a bad place to get stuck.
GO OWLS!
