Sun Belt stats

As bad as the first two games have been, it could have been worse. La-Lafayette is last in the Sun Belt in both Total Offense AND Total Defense by a lot.

Sun Belt stats

UNT is down there with us on the offense stats because the their first game with Texas. UNT had 95 total yards. 8 rushing yards. Texas racked up 410 total yards.

UNT's second game was against SMU which they won 24-6.

I'm not going to look at all the schedules but I think its safe to say FAU had the toughest first two games and will extend that to three in a few days.

The three teams ahead on offense are close and that difference could have been made up with Clayton starting and playing more in both games, easily. Only 47 yards diff. to get behind Troy. Then the diff gets big.
Defense is another story.

Howard had no intention of trying to win those games and was trying to spread the experience around. What is it doing to the confidence and morale of those guys getting beat so bad?

I just looked up ULL stats

I take back what I said. ULL played LSU and Texas A & M in their first two games. They lost to LSU 45-3 and lost to Texas A & M 51-7. Not too diff from FAU. Outscored 96-10. Thats pretty close. Thats tougher than FAU's first two.
