Hughley and Perkins?

I know both were pretty high recruits coming into this year but I noticed neither have played. Are they injured?…can anyone comment on their status and when we can expect to see them?

Also, can we expect Avery Holly to join the team after the FIU game on Saturday?

They are both in recovery…one had surgery on his shoulder prior to season start…the other is also recovering from an injury suffered prior to season start.

They are both set to make thier first appearance as an Owl Dec 9th @ UCF…this is information was given by them directly…

Holley will join the team immediately after the final football game…this should be practice Nov 26th…he will play Monday, Nov 28th vs Florida Memorial…

The other recruits, Kuka and Harris are set to begin play after completing this semester academically…this should be when grades are posted…Harris attends PBCC and is finishing his eligibility requirements for enrollment at FAU…Kuka is sitting out NCAA mandatory transfer requirements…

The latest from Coach Walters on Hughley and Perkins:

"…We will be hearing back on Sanchez Hughley health on the 8th of this month and we will also get some more information about Xavier Perkins in the middle of this month…"

It does not look like Perkins will be available for UCF…

If Perkins misses many more games, they may want to just redshirt him, monitor his health, let him practice, and keep 4 years of eligibility.
