Another conference win at home would be nice and bring us back above .500 in conference play. Let's build on the last win against ULL.
Go Owls!!

That's what I get for taking time away form the Nest and being a slacker.

He he he…same here! Arkansaw-schmarkansaw….all the same to me - A WIN…
We need to stop their PF - he is an absolute beast on the boards…and put backs, etc…
Otherwise, we look pretty good as long as we play some DEFENSE in the second half - cmon guys make this the turn around game!!!
Ill be there…….
Latest line has us favored by three!

The way the team started the second half I was staring to worry that they where going to let another game get away from them, but the team responded well after the sluggish start and play solid for the must part and created a ton of turnovers, now we need to make a few more shots, missed way to many easy open ones.
The team did finish and that is important, hopefully it will help build some confidence going and finish the season on a high note.
Given the circumstance that the team had to deal with at the beginning of the season, they are really starting to gel as a team at the right time.

Rice was clutch as per usual, we're gonna miss that guy next season. Overall we played pretty good.
Derek Simmons was an animal in the first half, the guy comes off the bench and just destroys it, he's such an asset off the bench.
That PF the other team had brought down I think 22 rebounds last night, the guy was a beast!

I agree, we looked pretty good last night. Jeff Parmer seemed pretty upset about something, he was getting rough with some guys.

I dont know if anyone else has noticed but we seem to do our best when we play a four guard line-up..ironically, this is when simmons has had his TWO best games by far…its like the guy just comes to life when he can be counted on to rebound and get those quick up and under finishes around the basket…he has developed a little bit of a game doing that…when he sinks into the "four man back up role player guy" he doesnt do much at all…i for one wish we would begin to employ a four out one in look much more often…

He ran onto the court, fists balled and screamed something like, "Get off my court", and then followed him to the bench.
But Simmons was right back in the game. The other players and fans around me cringed.
I have some pictures of it. Definitely interesting.
