Savidge needs surgery, but should be back in 2-6 weeks depending on the extent of the damage. With the 2 OOC games and the bye, he may only have to miss 1 SBC game, or none at all.
The Bad News:
Looks like Pinnick is done for the year. Which really sucks, BUT…
Potentially GREAT News:
Due to an NCAA rule change, he is eligible to return next season. He is graduting in December, so it would be up to him if he wants to return, but how awesome would our defense be next year with Pinnick back and the players who will replace him this season getting a lot of game experience?? Obviously he has to decide if he would want to stay an extra year, but I hope he does. It would be a shame to end a great college career with an injury like that. Plus he'd be coming back to help defend the Sun Belt championship! (fingers crossed!) ;D

can we hold off on making any judgment calls until after he has the MRI results presented…with all due respect, EVERYONE said that savidge was done…even Coach…and now it looks MUCH BETTER for him…
Pinnick has not seen his doctor yet to get the report…
leave this up to the Man upsatirs for now…….

Hey, i'm just going by the Post's story. I would love nothing more than for Pinnick to be ready to play soon. Is he seeing the doctor today?

I hope for Pinnick's sake he can come back this season in competetive shape for the conference games. If not, I hope he elects to stick around for next year.
same here…he needs to be Honored in a special way…if he comes back and The Rring comes this year, fine…if he needs to stick around until next year - then so be it…
