Re: Someone is auditioning for the Sun-Sentinel Editorial Board!
dont get wrapped around the axle based on the fact that FAU was mentioned - its pointless…it was only used as a circumstantial illustration point…if they lived next to fiu, it would have been fiu in the article…nonethless the points are rational and valid…
the article makes valid points to support to "argument" above:
The fact that students were protesting Iranian humanity defeciences with Chinese made rags - while China is by far a worse offender in this category…i must admit that is pretty hypocritical in nature…
The text messagin thing is a given…i for one have HAD IT with people paying more attention to thier cel phone, while driving, than the world around them speeding by with security and safety needs (at 80 miles an hour on I95) - another sign of loss of intellect…
Just my "opnion" here…….

What on earth does the quality of the students' *driving* at FAU have to do with their intellect, or Iran??? This is one of the strangest articles I have ever read, and the rest of the points in the article are also pretty crazy:

Yeah, the article mentions FAU only in passing, really.
But I still don't see the big issue that people try to make about FAU drivers. Theyr'e young college students. That's what they do. And I hardly think that people in Boca – a place where some individuals speed and don't care because they can afford the ticket – have ANY right to complain about bad driving, even if it was going on.
